Grunge simulates the peeling paint that occurs when zombies are trying to claw in through the walls, or when a flood erodes away your house’s nice new coat of paint, or when aliens just decide to play a fun prank and age your house a hundred years or so. You can change the color of the paint (zombies are known to live in mortal fear of the color aquamarine.  Fact!) You also get to decide the texture that fills the text behind the paint, so that your logo can be built out of whatever material you think will best weather the storm, or keep the vampires out. Change the paint damage level to change how much of the paint is missing, chipped, or gouged out by vicious man and wood eating plants.

It may be spring, but icy winds are still blowing in here at Cool Text, freezing words into our new Iced logo style!

Create a logo with an icy feel, and customize how much ice there is, as well as the color. You can have any color of ice you like! Cover your logo completely in ice, or give it a light frosting. Also, you can change how thick the ice looks. Make your logo appear as though it is under several feet of solid ice.

Also – you can control how far the ice stretches upwards from your logo.

As always, the text color and font are fully customizable, as well as the background. Use a solid color background, or choose from one of our textures.  The ice is see-through, so if you use a background, the background will show through. Otherwise, whatever is behind the logo will show through the ice.

[Cool Text] New Chromium Style Now Available!

Chrome is all the rage these days... it's a web browser, an operating system, a shiny finish to put on your tire rims or bathroom faucet, and now...there's a new Chromium Cool Text style!

Chromium is a slick new style to give that shiny edge to your logo. The logo glows with its own brightness, which is fully customizable in color. Use one of our gradients to brighten up your logo, or pick you own color from the color chooser to give your logo the look you want. Or, if glow isn't your thing, set the glow to the background color and it'll disappear.

Chromium also has a cool new sparkle effect, just in case that glow around the edge just isn't enough shine for you. The sparkles will come in the same color as the glow.

And now...sick of that silvery chrome color? The color of the chrome on your logo is fully customizable as well. If you can find it on the color spectrum, we can chrome it!

Season's Greetings and Announcing Live Logo Previews

Our elves are lovingly working away at hand crafting each custom logo and our reindeer are happily hauling them to you at the speed of Santa’s sleigh. The fonts are all twinkling with holiday cheer and the Story Book style buttons are hoping to be attached to gifts soon.

The elves are very excited to announce our new live preview system for rendering logos. Now with each alteration to your complimentary custom logo design the image will magically be refreshed to show the change. We've really taken the Grinch out of coming up with spiffy keen logos and buttons.

Cool Text now has a faster rendering system.

Where before when rendering a logo you would be put into a queue with a page that would refresh, so rendering a logo would sometimes take 15 seconds or more. Now you will go directly to the result page and the rendered logos will appear much faster.

[Cool Text] Now Providing Image Hosting and Unicode Support

Cool Text is now providing web hosting for our rendered images. Previously the only way to use Cool Text was to download the images and upload them to a web server or an image hosting site. We can now host the images for you on our servers.

This makes our service easier to use than ever before. When a logo is rendered you can now get a simple HTML code that can easily be copied and pasted onto any forum or social networking site.

Also, we’ve recently added Unicode support to Cool Text. Non-latin characters will now use a Unicode font instead of being rendered as question marks. In the future, we will be translating Cool Text into additional languages that use a non-latin alphabet.
